Mental Health and Art: Glass Arts Tacoma 2022 Presentation

Join me at the annual GAS conference in Tacoma, WA from May 18-22! Celebrate 50 years of Glass Art Society while experiencing the unique beauty and charm of south Puget Sound.

Come check out the panel that I will speaking on about the intersect between ar and mental health!

Emotion gives us motion, art gives us life. Suffering and meaning find themselves entangled in the creative process and artistic endeavor. While many artists suffer from various mental health struggles-- these struggles can often be left out of the discourse and dialogue. This panel seeks to explore the intersection between mental health issues and art, how they are related, and increase awareness around mental health issues in these spaces.
