The Logic of Rage

Anger and rage are emotions that we often think as only negative emotions that we should silence and completely cut off from our experience and emotional language. Yet, anger and rage, like all emotions— negative or otherwise,— have their function and use. Check out this episode from the wonderful and amazing podcast The Hidden Brain on the logic of rage. This episode is less focused on therapy and more focused on neuroscience. That said, anger has its place in our lives, and can be both worked through and given healthy space in psychotherapy.
